PIT BULLS AND OTHER DANGEROUS DOGS KEEP ON KILLING

http://www.optuszoo.com.au/news/top/news-com-au/guide-dog-killed-in-pit-bull-attack/750059

ANOTHER innocent Guide dog killed in yet ANOTHER vicious pit bull attack.  When are pit bull owners finally going to understand that their dogs are dangerous; they pose a huge danger to society!

Pit bulls are mauling, maiming and killing people, pets, and service/guide dogs at a rate UNMATCHED by any other type of dog, and WE ARE SICK OF IT!!!!

I don't really care who's at fault, whether it's the dogs or the owners; it makes no difference to me. The fact is that pit bulls are dangerous, and a lot of times, so are their owners. So don't bother with your comments about who is at fault, and comment about that "it's the owners' fault."  I DON'T CARE!!!! The FACT is, PIT BULLS CONTINUE TO MAUL, MAIM AND KILL AND IT NEEDS TO STOP, by whatever means necessary! If the damn dogs have to be removed as pets, then so be it.  This guide dog, and NO guide or service dogs, or family pets, or children, or adults deserve to be mauled to death or eaten alive by some aggressive dog, just because its owner thinks he/she has the RIGHT to own whatever dog they want.  Well, guess what....WE HAVE RIGHTS TOO!!!! WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO FEEL AND TO BE SAFE IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS!
And we're DAMNED TIRED of your vicious dogs harassing, threatening, mauling and attacking, and even KILLING our family members, our pets, and our service and guide dogs!

It used to be easy for you who own pit bulls, but not anymore! We are going to FIGHT you! And we WILL NOT STOP until these vicious dogs are off of our city streets and are NO longer in homes as pets.  WE WILL FIGHT until it's done; until we can live safer, and in more peace in our neighborhoods and can walk down the street with our children, or our dogs and guide/service dogs, without the fear of being mauled to death by your inherently vicious pit bull type dog!

If you don't want the fight, THEN CONTROL YOUR VICIOUS ANIMALS! Put up an adequate fence, get a stronger leash, train your dogs, put them in a locked pen....do whatever you have to do to MAKE THIS STOP, or you're going to have the fight of your life on your hands! We are gathering an army of support, most of them victims, and we WILL fight you!

"In the UK it is illegal to breed or own Pit Bull Terriers, Japanese Tosas, Dogo Argentinos and Fila Brazilieros. They were bred as aggressive fighting dogs.
It is also an offence for an owner to allow a dog of any breed 'to be dangerously out of control in a public place.'
The Government has recognised that dog attacks is a growing problem. In 2011 police seized 1,512 illegal dogs – up from just 27 five years earlier. Meanwhile attacks on guide dogs were now running at the rate of seven a month."

You CANNOT argue the FACT that pit bulls and their mixes, were bred to fight and kill, EVERYONE seems to know that except the owners of these dogs!

These attacks are inexcusable! Unacceptable! And completely PREVENTABLE!
You wonder why people like us want BSL?   THIS IS WHY! Because YOU pit bull owners, and owners of DANGEROUS DOGS can't seem to keep your damn killing machines under control!

Have you ANY idea what it takes to train a service or guide dog? Have you any idea how much it costs? Do you know what kind of a bond a handler has with his/her service/guide dog?  DO YOU EVEN GIVE A DAMN?????

We Will be quiet NO MORE!!!!!!!

  2. What we need to do is follow the Mothers Against Drunk Drivers' strategy and place the focus firmly on the victims of dangerous dogs. Not on the dogs. And not on the owners.

    1. Yes, thank you Quiet Neighbor, that's EXACTLY what we're doing with this Walk. This is about getting the VOICES OF THE VICTIMS HEARD. It's not about BSL and/or any regulations for dangerous dogs.....it's not about getting ordinances enacted. IT'S ABOUT THE VICTIMS! To honor them and remember those that are gone and to get their VOICES heard. It's also to increase public awareness of what these dangerous dogs are doing....and IT'S NOT JUST PIT BULLS, although Pit Bulls lead the way, by a mile, in vicious attacks, maulings, maimings, and deaths.

I'm ANGRY! and I'm damned TIRED of this! I am so tired of every day reading yet another article about another guide dog or service dog attacked by pit bulls. DAMNED TIRED!

Thanks for stopping by Quiet Neighbor and taking time to comment.

    2. You're welcome, Jewel Jade. And I'm especially proud of the fact that you're organizing the first-ever walk for victims, and that it's happening here in Tucson, Arizona.

I stand in awe of you.

    4. Happy to stand with you, Jewel Jade. More than happy, in fact.

One thing that really gets me going is how our tax-funded institutions are failing to protect us. Case in point: The University of Arizona:

      http://uanews.org/node/44299

The very idea of using UANews to promote a pit nutter group. Let those nutters find their own ways to publicize themselves. UANews is supported by our tax dollars!

They're as bad as the Pima Animal Care Center and their rescue groups page:

      http://www.pimaanimalcare.org/services/rescuegrps.asp

Look at the group on top of the list. It's Adopt-A-Bull! Guess what type of dog that group is putting back into our community! I feel SO safe!

  4. I'd imagine small dog breeds will bite more often than larger breeds or at least the same.. the only difference being.. their bites may not do as much damage. Any dog has potential to be aggressive and attack or defend. Not just pit bulls.. just the same as any dog has potential to be passive, submissive and friendly.

And yes, I am a pit owner .. and have also puppy trained 2 dogs for Leader Dogs for the Blind

  5. I've heard the argument that Pit Bulls are the same as guns, that it takes a person to make them go off. I think that's a load of crap. A gun is a tool that ONLY operates when you pick it up. A Pit Bull can and WILL "go off" all by itself. I don't understand why so many people feel the need to own these menaces, small self esteem problems I would guess, sort of like owning a 4x4 Crew Cab Dually Pickup when you live in the middle of the city in an apartment...

  6. small dogs do bite and be aggressive more because they are intimidated because of their small size, so why are they not hard to get into homes, does that not make them an aggressive breed? just because it is small and less likely to do big damage it is still fucking aggressive in behavior, some people and their negative uneducated opinions on a non existant dog "pitbull" is hilarious to me, get educated on matters you want to act like a know it all about, quit believing everything you hear on the internet. you must have seen the state farm insurance app commercial where the lady says you can't put anything on the internet that isn't true, and the guy asks where she heard that? "the internet". And how about while in your daily google searches to see what bad the dogs have done, how about tryin to google some of the good deeds these dogs have done or just the neutral dogs that haven't helped nor hurt anybody and just lived a nonrmal family pet for their whole lives without incident

What is special about you and your tax dollars that you feel your opinion on the matter should be the only 1 publicized? You really going to get on here and leave posts that make yourself sound so big headed and selfish, and that your voice and money is the only thing that matters? Yeah that's going to get a lot of people to side with you. Hey other people and tax payers, your opinion means nothing only Your Quiet Neighbors money and opinions matter, shows you how selfish and only care about theirselves people in this country really are. Pointing the finger at a dog that cant speak for himself, giving a group of dogs a common made up name to classify them as a group, each dog that is put into this imaginary group of "pitbull" is a different type and breed of dog, so which 1 of the types I supposedly the real pitbull of them cause they all can't be? Its just like dumb americans to look past the point that these dogs that attack probably don't live the most humble lives because of their dumb owners that get their hands on them, whether they are beaten, starved or whatever I've heard about it all. Look at it comparatively to people, who are the people that later in lives go to prisons, people that have been neglected, abused and from broken homes just had rough lives usually, its not about the person they are, its about the way and conditions they had to live their lives in. If you do like to believe everything from the web though, next time in your google search field instead of typing in pitbull hurts, try typing in "pitbull saves" and see what interesting info you find, some might even bring a tear to your eye. I am not a racist I like people based on who they are as a person, and I am also an animal lover of all kinds, there is good and bad of any specific breed of dogs, they have unique and specific personalities specific to that dog as an individual not as an overall breed
